Khaynat Khanam of Bihar Passes NEET with 593 Marks, Secures Medical College Seat

Khaynat Khanam, a resident of Morwara village in Darbhanga district, Bihar, is the daughter of truck driver Imtiaz Ahmad Khan. Despite limited family income and repeated exam failures, she persisted in her goal of becoming a doctor. After three attempts and a disruption caused by a NEET paper leak in 2026, she retook the exam and scored 593 out of 720, earning an All‑India Rank of 1,407. Her result secured admission to a medical college, fulfilling a long‑held dream to serve poorer communities. Support from her family, a rented house in Darbhanga for better study conditions, and guidance from teacher Sumit Chaubey were instrumental in her success.
