A Russian drone strike on a minibus in Kherson, Ukraine, killed four people and injured five others. Regional military administration head Oleksandr Prokudin stated that the drone operator targeted the civilian vehicle directly, striking the roof of the minibus.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack, describing the targeting of civilians in Kherson as a “safari.” He called for increased international pressure on Russia and additional military support to protect the civilian population.
In a broader context of aerial combat, a drone strike in Zhytomyr hit a police headquarters, resulting in two police officers killed and over twenty injured. Meanwhile, in Russia, drone strikes in the Belgorod and Bryansk regions caused additional fatalities and injuries, including two women killed in separate vehicle strikes.
