KHIDI supports South Korean biohealth startups in Boston
The Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) recently supported South Korean biohealth companies during Startup Boston Week in the United States. The initiative aimed to help domestic startups build local networks and explore market entry opportunities within the Boston biotech ecosystem.
Twelve companies residing in the C&D Incubation Office, including CJ CheilJedang, Voronoi, and Medimap Bio, participated in the networking event. These companies met with approximately 20 local investors, founders, accelerators, and government officials to discuss technical cooperation, investment, and business development.
Since 2022, KHIDI has operated the C&D Incubation Office at the Cambridge Innovation Center, providing office space and networking support to a total of 60 companies to date. The institute plans to expand its support for local entry by utilizing overseas bases to meet the high demand for partner discovery and networking.
