Khánh Hòa police arrest fugitive wanted for murder and public disorder

Khánh Hòa provincial police have apprehended Phan Văn Chương, a man wanted on two separate arrest warrants for nearly seven years. The arrest took place on October 19 in Phước Dinh commune, Khánh Hòa province.

Chương was first wanted for murder following an incident on November 26, 2019, in Cam Ranh. During a dispute at a social gathering, Chương allegedly stabbed a man in the chest with a folding knife, causing the victim to die while en route to the hospital. A warrant was issued for his arrest on December 3, 2019.

Additionally, Chương was wanted for a public disorder incident that occurred on March 15, 2019, in Cam Phú commune. A second warrant was issued on August 18, 2020. Authorities are currently finalizing the legal dossier to process him according to the law.
