KIA and Samsung adjust lineups for Playoff Game 2

As the postseason continues, both KIA Tigers and Samsung Lions have implemented significant lineup changes ahead of their second playoff game at Daegu Samsung Lions Park.

KIA Tigers manager Lee Bum-ho has utilized strategic player rotations to maintain momentum. For the upcoming matchup, Lee has selected Lee Ho-yeon as the number two hitter to bolster the top of the order, replacing Park Jung-woo. The manager has also reintegrated outfielder Kim Ho-ryeong into the starting lineup.

Samsung Lions manager Park Jin-man is prioritizing offensive production to overcome a lack of scoring in Game 1. Facing a deficit in batting power, Park has moved Choi Hyoung-woo to left field to maximize his hitting potential, despite the player's limited recent defensive duties and windy conditions in Daegu. Samsung also plans to utilize Ariel Jurado as the starting pitcher to counter the KIA lineup.
