Kia EV2 electric SUV launches in Spain with 444 km range and sub‑€24,000 price
Kia has introduced the EV2 electric compact SUV in Spain, offering a version with a 61 kWh battery that provides a WLTP‑rated 444 km (276 mi) range. The model is priced from just under €24,000 for the base Air trim, with higher‑spec Earth, GT Line and Black Line finishes also available. The EV2 measures 4.06 m long, 1.8 m wide and 1.57 m tall, with a 2.565 m wheelbase and up to 362 L of boot space plus a 15 L frunk; a 4‑seat layout can expand rear cargo capacity to 403 L.
A Greek‑language report notes that the EV2 is produced at Kia’s Zilina plant in Slovakia, the second fully electric model built there after the EV4. It offers two battery sizes (42.2 kWh and 61 kWh) delivering 317 km and 448 km of range respectively, powered by a 147 hp motor with a consumption of 15.2 kWh per 100 km. The vehicle features a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3‑inch central touchscreen, OTA updates, extensive driver‑assistance systems and sustainable interior materials.
