Kia expands electric and hybrid vehicle offerings

Kia is strengthening its position in the sustainable mobility market through a dual strategy focusing on hybrid and fully electric vehicles. In Europe, the brand is promoting its hybrid lineup, including the new generation Kia Stonic. This B-SUV model features a mild-hybrid (MHEV) powertrain with a 1.0 T-GDI engine producing 115 CV, offering reduced consumption and ECO label benefits.

In the United States, Kia has introduced aggressive lease and finance offers for the 2027 EV3 crossover to compete with models like the Chevrolet Bolt and Nissan Leaf. The entry-level EV3 Wind front-wheel-drive model is available for approximately $321 per month on a 36-month lease. Higher-spec versions, including those with an 81.4 kWh battery providing an estimated 321-mile range or all-wheel-drive configurations, are also being positioned with competitive monthly rates to attract buyers to the electric segment.
