Kia expands electric lineup with EV3 and EV4 models

Kia is strengthening its presence in the compact electric vehicle segment with the EV3 and EV4 models. The EV4 is a compact electric vehicle available in various body styles, including a 4-door sedan, a Fastback, and a 5-door hatchback. It shares design language and interior layouts with the EV3 and the flagship EV9, featuring a triple-screen setup with 12.3, 5.3, and 12.3-inch displays.

The EV3 GT variant offers a sportier aesthetic with neon green accents on the brake calipers, seats, and steering wheel. While the GT version provides increased performance through a more powerful front motor—reaching 215 kW (292 PS) and 468 Nm of torque—the power increase over the standard All-Wheel Drive (AWD) model is relatively modest. The vehicle utilizes a dual-motor setup designed to prioritize efficiency by engaging the rear axle only when necessary.
