Kia expands electric SUV lineup with compact EV2 model

Kia is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the EV2, a compact electric SUV designed to compete in the small EV segment. The model features two battery options: a Standard Range version with a 42.2 kWh LFP battery offering up to 313.8 km of range, and a Long Range version with a 61 kWh NMC battery providing up to 442.5 km of range.

The EV2 is positioned as a sophisticated choice in the B-segment, featuring premium amenities such as a 29-inch panoramic display, a Harman Kardon audio system, and seat cooling. Pricing for the entry-level model starts at approximately €26,645, while the fully equipped top-tier model reaches nearly €40,000. Kia anticipates significant market success, projecting sales of 12,500 units in 2027.
