Kia expands electric GT lineup with EV3, EV4, and EV5 models

Kia is expanding its high-performance electric lineup in Europe with the introduction of three new GT models: the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT. These vehicles, which were presented at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, aim to balance sporty driving dynamics with everyday usability.

The new models feature dual-motor all-wheel drive and specialized technical upgrades, including electronic controlled suspension, torque vectoring, and simulated gear shifts and engine sounds. The EV3 GT, a compact SUV, delivers 215 kW (292 hp), while the EV4 GT, a hatchback/fastback, offers similar power with a 0-100 km/h time of 5.6 seconds. The larger EV5 GT C-SUV is the most powerful, producing 225 kW (306 hp).

Design elements specific to the GT line include 20-inch alloy wheels, neon-green accents, and sport seats. According to David Labrosse, Head of Product Planning at Hyundai Motor Europe, the GT designation for these models focuses on a holistic driver experience rather than just raw power, ensuring the cars remain comfortable for daily commuting while offering enhanced engagement for enthusiasts.
