Kia expands PV5 electric minibus lineup with 6- and 7‑seat versions

Kia announced that its fully electric PV5 Passenger minibus, originally launched as a five‑seat model for late 2025, can now be ordered in six‑seat (1‑2‑3 layout) and seven‑seat (2‑2‑3 layout) configurations in Germany. The new versions target larger families and commercial shuttle services. Pricing starts at roughly €40,200, with the seven‑seat model at €40,190 and the six‑seat model at €41,540. Customers can choose between 51.5 kWh and 71.2 kWh battery packs, providing about 400 km of range, and motor outputs of 89 kW (122 hp) or 120 kW (163 hp). Standard equipment includes dual sliding doors, low step‑entry, an 11 m turning circle, ISOFIX anchors, a 230‑V socket (optional), and extensive warranty coverage (seven years or 150,000 km for the vehicle, eight years or 160,000 km for the battery). Production of the updated model year 2027 is scheduled for mid‑July, with design improvements aimed at both private buyers and shared‑mobility operators.
