Kia launches seven‑seat PV5 Passenger and expands EV lineup in Belgium and Luxembourg

Kia announced that its PV5 Passenger electric van will be offered in a seven‑seat configuration in Belgium and Luxembourg. The new layout adds a third row (2‑2‑3) for up to seven occupants while retaining 318 L of luggage space, expanding to 785 L with the third row folded. Two battery options – 51.5 kWh and 71.2 kWh – provide a WLTP range of more than 390 km, and the model is priced at €39,790 incl. VAT with deliveries expected from October 2026. Kia also introduced the shorter PV5 Cargo L1H1 for urban deliveries, starting at €29,600 excl. VAT.

In a separate test of the Kia EV2 conducted in Belgium, reviewers recorded a winter highway range of only about 150 km. The EV2 is available with a 42.2 kWh or a 61 kWh battery, priced from €26,690 to €37,390. The test vehicle, a Business‑Plus trim with numerous options, cost €36,140 in total and featured equipment such as a warm‑pump, frunk, Harman Kardon audio, and dual‑zone automatic air‑conditioning.
