Kia launches six- and seven‑seat PV5 Passenger electric van in Czech Republic

Kia has expanded its PV5 Passenger electric van range in the Czech Republic with new six‑seat (1‑2‑3) and seven‑seat (2‑2‑3) configurations. The models target large families, corporate fleets and professional transport operators, offering a modular interior and two battery options: 51.5 kWh and 71.2 kWh. Both variants provide a WLTP‑rated range of up to 397 km and support 150 kW fast charging, allowing a charge from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes. Additional features include a low 399 mm step‑over height, V2L technology for powering external devices, and generous luggage capacity (315–350 L). Kia Czech CEO Arnošt Barna highlighted the van’s practicality and flexibility for a broad Czech customer base.

The launch marks Kia’s push to position the PV5 Passenger as a versatile electric solution for passenger transport, competing with traditional MPVs and serving niche markets such as hotel shuttles and airport transfers.
