Kia PV5 leads European electric van sales in H1 2026
The Kia PV5 has become the top-selling electric van in the C-segment in Europe during the first half of 2026. According to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) and Dataforce, the model recorded 13,116 units sold, capturing a 37% market share within its category.
The PV5 achieved leading sales positions in 12 countries, including major markets such as the United Kingdom with 3,361 units and Germany with 2,206 units. In several markets, its share exceeded 50%, notably in Denmark (63%), Ireland (62%), Sweden (59%), and Finland (58%).
Available in Cargo, Passenger, and Chassis Cab configurations, the vehicle is built on Kia’s E-GMP platform. Sjoerd Knipping, Chief Operating Officer of Kia Europe, attributed the success to the company’s ‘Platform Beyond Vehicle’ (PBV) strategy, which integrates software, services, and a specialized support network to enhance professional mobility.
