Kia reveals pricing for EV3 compact electric crossover

Kia has announced pricing for the EV3, a compact electric crossover aimed at the budget-conscious market in the United States. Including freight charges, the vehicle starts at $31,385, positioning it as a competitor to models such as the Chevrolet Bolt and Nissan Leaf.

The EV3 will be available in five trims: Light, Wind, Land, GT-Line, and GT, with prices ranging from $31,385 to $47,385. The entry-level Light trim features a 58.3-kWh battery with an EPA-estimated range of 221 miles. Higher trims utilize an 81.4-kWh battery, providing up to 321 miles of range in front-wheel drive or 280 miles with all-wheel drive.

Key features include a built-in North American Charging Standard port and vehicle-to-load capability. While the model has been available in international markets for nearly two years, its U.S. launch follows discussions regarding production locations, including potential manufacturing in Mexico.
