Kia unveils EV2 compact SUV and PV5 Cargo van with pricing in Greece

Kia's Greek representative announced the arrival of the EV2, a compact electric SUV positioned as the brand's most affordable fully electric model in the Greek market. Built in Slovakia on the 400 V E‑GMP platform, the EV2 offers four trim levels, two battery sizes (42.2 kWh and 61 kWh), a horsepower rating of 146 hp, and a claimed range of up to 450 km. Prices after the €4,000 Kia EV Bonus and a €3,000 national subsidy start at €24,490 for the Light trim and go up to €31,990 for the GT‑Line version, with leasing options from €212 per month.

In parallel, Kia introduced the PV5 Cargo, an electric van aimed at the light‑commercial segment. Developed on the new E‑GMP.S platform, the PV5 delivers 163 hp, offers two battery choices, and features a flat‑floor design for maximal cargo space. The model targets logistics firms, municipal services and other businesses seeking low‑cost, zero‑emission mobility. Kia highlighted the growth of Greece’s light‑commercial vehicle registrations, which rose 12.7 % in 2025 and 20.5 % in the first five months of 2026, underscoring the market potential for the PV5.
