Kia unveils PV7 electric van ahead of Hannover debut

Kia has released teaser images and video for the PV7, the second model in its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) lineup. The all-electric van is scheduled for its world premiere on September 14 at the IAA Transportation show in Hannover, Germany.

Positioned as a larger and more versatile sibling to the PV5, the PV7 is designed for both commercial use and lifestyle applications. It utilizes the dedicated E-GMP.S electric architecture. Teaser imagery suggests the vehicle may include specialized variants, such as a factory-built camper version, alongside standard cargo and passenger configurations.

The PV7 features a “one-box” design with a robust silhouette and contrasting black accents on the hood and pillars. It aims to expand Kia's presence in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) market, offering increased space and modularity for business fleets and personal use.
