Kielce launches free 'Chopinowskie Inspiracje' summer concert series

The Świętokrzyskie regional board is financing the seventh edition of "Chopinowskie Inspiracje," a free outdoor classical music festival in the Italian Garden of the former Bishop's Palace in Kielce. Eight summer Saturdays begin on 11 July, featuring performances that blend Chopin’s repertoire with twentieth‑century pieces such as Gershwin. Artists include leading pianists, chamber groups, and laureates of the International Chopin Competition from Poland and abroad. The regional board contributed 120 thousand zł, and the local marshal urged residents to bring blankets or deckchairs to enjoy the open‑air concerts. In case of rain, events will move indoors to the palace’s limited‑capacity halls.
