Kifisos traffic congestion caused by vehicle collision in Athens

A traffic accident on the Kifisos northbound lane near Liosion has caused significant congestion in Athens. The incident, which occurred early Monday morning, involved a vehicle veering off course and striking a light pole.

The collision resulted in the closure of the left lane, with traffic jams extending from the Three Bridges and Liosion area toward the Kifisos KTEL. Authorities expected to clear the remaining lanes and restore normal traffic flow by approximately 7:30 AM following the removal of the vehicle.
