KIIRAAY party expands political influence in Bakel and Thiès
The KIIRAAY (Patriotes-Républicains) political party is expanding its presence in Senegal, specifically within the Bakel department and the Thiès region.
Mamadou Coulibaly, Director General of SEMIG-SA, met with political leaders in Kidira to consolidate the party's influence. During this meeting, eight of the twelve mayors in the Bakel department officially joined KIIRAAY. The initiative aims to unite all local mayors and the president of the Departmental Council with the presidential movement to promote stability and reform.
Coulibaly emphasized that the party's focus will be on addressing regional challenges, including health, infrastructure, education, youth employment, and economic development. A departmental roadmap has been established, with plans for a large-scale meeting of KIIRAAY forces in Bakel.
In another development, Moussa Sarr has established a new KIIRAAY party cell in Pire Gourey. This move is intended to strengthen the party's grassroots organization and increase its influence within the Tivaouane area and the wider Thiès region.
