Kileler Mayor discusses infrastructure projects with Greek Transport Minister

Thanasis Nasiakopoulos, the Mayor of Kileler, met with the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Dimas, to discuss several critical infrastructure developments for the Kileler Municipality.

A primary focus of the meeting was the proposed 45-kilometer road connection between Larissa and Farsala, a project that passes through much of the Kileler region. The Mayor emphasized the urgent need to begin construction on this long-delayed axis.

Discussions also covered the progress of repairs to road and rail networks following the damage caused by Storm Daniel. Specific railway projects mentioned include the construction of a parallel road along the Larissa-Volos line to facilitate the movement of farmers, products, and machinery, as well as the necessity of level crossings for local agricultural access. Additionally, the ongoing construction of a new railway bridge in Chalki was highlighted as a result of coordinated efforts between the Municipality, the Thessaly Region, and the Ministry.
