Japanese manga and anime publishers announce September 2026 releases

Several Japanese manga and anime publications have announced upcoming releases and promotional activities for September 2026.

Starts Publishing Co., Ltd. is releasing three new titles under its Zerise COMICS label on September 11, including the fantasy works ‘GEMIS-Gemis-’ and ‘Giganjin’, as well as the volleyball manga ‘5-Minute Ace’.

In the anime sector, the official X account for the film ‘Detective Precure! The Mysterious Garden and the Secret of Two’ released a character profile for Cure Arcana, which has gained significant traction on social media. Additionally, the October issue of Anime Dia magazine will feature ‘Detective Precure!’ on its cover, with a double cover featuring ‘Genshin Impact’.

Kill Time Communication is scheduled to release two new volumes of its Brise Comics titles on September 14: the fantasy romance ‘The Secret Chat of the Ghost Prince and Me, Vol. 3’ and the gourmet fantasy ‘The Imperial Palace Medicinal Physician of the 72 Seasons, Vol. 2’.
