Kim Min-jae attracts interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa

Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae is a subject of interest for several major European clubs following a decline in his standing within the squad. Under manager Vincent Kompany, the 29-year-old South Korean international has fallen behind Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah in the hierarchy.

Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are reportedly monitoring the situation, with interest also coming from AC Milan and Juventus. While Kim remains under contract until 2028 and is reportedly content to fight for his place at Bayern, the German club may be open to a sale if they secure a replacement.

A transfer in January is considered unlikely, but a move next summer could be feasible. Reports suggest a fee in the region of £30 million might be sufficient to secure his signature, providing Premier League clubs with an experienced defender known for his role in Napoli’s recent success.
