Kim Seong-jung inaugurated as Incheon Administrative Vice Mayor

Kim Seong-jung, the former Administrative Vice Governor of Gyeonggi Province, has officially assumed office as the 24th Administrative Vice Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City. His appointment ends a three-month vacancy in the position and establishes the administrative control tower for the city's ninth popularly elected administration.

Kim, a veteran public official who passed the 39th Administrative Examination, brings extensive experience from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Presidential Office, and roles as Vice Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and Gyeonggi Province. His primary responsibilities include stabilizing the city's organization, coordinating major administrative issues, and supporting Mayor Park Chan-dae's vision.

Additionally, Ji Yong-gu, a local finance expert formerly with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, has been designated as the new Director of the Planning and Coordination Office. Ji is expected to lead fiscal reforms and secure national government funding for the upcoming year following the conclusion of the National Assembly's audit.
