KIMCo Foundation and Biolink Partners partner to support biotech startups
The KIMCo Foundation and Biolink Partners have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support the growth and commercialization of pharmaceutical and biotechnology startups in South Korea.
The partnership aims to combine the KIMCo Foundation’s industry network and open innovation capabilities with Biolink Partners’ expertise in business development (BD) and global partnering. This collaboration is designed to transform the research achievements and technologies of promising startups into tangible business opportunities.
Key areas of cooperation include the joint discovery of promising startups and technologies, professional consulting for technology commercialization, and the joint operation of investment attraction and follow-up commercialization programs. Additionally, the two organizations will collaborate on business development training, consulting, and the pursuit of government-supported projects. The initiative seeks to strengthen the support system for startups by connecting them with domestic and international partners and enhancing their global business development capabilities.
