King Promise releases official Chelsea anthem for African supporters

Ghanaian musician King Promise has collaborated with Chelsea FC to create ‘Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)’, an official track dedicated to the club’s supporters across Africa. The song is scheduled to be played at Chelsea fixtures throughout the 2026/27 season.

The music video for the anthem was filmed in Accra, Ghana, at the Nungua SDA Park and during the Rent Paid Football Exhibition Tournament. The tournament served as the African launch for Chelsea’s new home kit and featured various local supporter groups. King Promise, a lifelong supporter of the club, noted that filming at Nungua SDA Park was significant as it was where he originally developed his passion for football.

Chelsea brand director Scott Fenton described the partnership as a natural collaboration stemming from the artist's connection to the club, aiming to celebrate African fan culture and the club's influence beyond the pitch.
