King Salman Park Foundation and Huawei sign smart city AI agreement

The King Salman Park Foundation and Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia Ltd have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance smart city capabilities within King Salman Park. Signed on the sidelines of the LEAP 2026 conference, the two-year agreement aims to drive innovation through artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies.

The collaboration focuses on developing a digital ecosystem that includes smart city platforms, digital infrastructure, and intelligent operations. Key areas of exploration include AI innovation roadmaps, digital twins, robotics, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and smart automation.

Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, the partnership seeks to create an interactive and sustainable urban destination in Riyadh. The initiative will prioritize data governance, system integration, and talent development to ensure a secure and scalable digital environment for visitors, residents, and employees.
