Kino Zone in Zadar offers free inclusive screenings of Croatian films

Kino Zone hosted a two‑part program in the Polivalent Hall of the Providurove Palace in Zadar. At 18:00 an inclusive screening of Igor Šeregi’s comedy “Svadba” was presented, featuring subtitles, Croatian sign‑language interpretation and audio‑description to serve deaf, hard‑of‑hearing, blind and low‑vision audiences.

The evening continued at 20:00 with Ivona Juka’s drama “Lijepa večer, lijep dan”, selected as Croatia’s candidate for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. The film follows four former Partisan fighters turned filmmakers in post‑war Yugoslavia and explores artistic freedom and repression.

Both screenings were free of charge and organized in partnership with the accessibility platform Film svima, with support from the City of Zadar, Zadar County, the Nova Cultural Foundation and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
