Kinokuniya launches limited‑edition Moomin bag collection in Japan

Japanese retailer Kinokuniya is releasing a three‑item "Moomin Bag Collection" that incorporates the Nordic characters into everyday bags. The line includes a fold‑away compact bag, a transparent clear bag and a wide‑mouth OBENTO bag, each offered in two designs featuring Moomin, Snufkin, Little My and other characters. Prices range from ¥1,320 for the OBENTO bag to ¥2,750 for the clear bag, with the compact bag priced at ¥1,980. The products will be available for purchase on Kinokuniya’s official online store from 20:00 on 15 July 2026, and in physical stores starting 16 July 2026. The collection is sold in limited quantities.
