Kinsey Institute study finds declining sexual activity in Generation Z
A study conducted by The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction in the United States suggests that Generation Z, individuals born between 1997 and 2012, is experiencing a decline in sexual activity.
Surveying 2,373 young adults aged 18 to 29, the research found that one-third of respondents had no sexual partner in the previous three months, and 19% reported having never had a sexual partner. Despite this trend, the study notes that many respondents maintain moderate to high levels of sexual desire and that the decrease in activity does not necessarily indicate personal distress or well-being issues.
