Kisela Voda begins reconstruction of Dračevo to OHIS road
The Kisela Voda Municipality has commenced the first phase of a road reconstruction project spanning 1,173 meters from the Dračevo bridge to OHIS. Mayor Betty Stamenkoska Trajkoska inspected the initial construction activities, which currently involve excavation and the removal of earth.
The infrastructure project is being implemented through a contract with the Ministry of Transport and is funded by a Hungarian credit (Projects Phase 2) secured by the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia. Following the excavation, workers will install crushed stone to stabilize the road structure before paving.
The completed project will feature a 5-meter wide roadway reinforced with two layers of asphalt, along with 1.5-meter wide sidewalks on both sides. The works are expected to result in approximately 6,000 square meters of new asphalt and 3,000 square meters of paved sidewalks.
