The Kisela Voda Municipality, in collaboration with the HEMA-ONCO Association, has launched the ‘Pink October’ campaign to promote the prevention and early detection of malignant diseases. The campaign officially commenced with an educational forum held at the ‘Defenders Park’ in the Drachevo neighborhood.
The event featured medical specialists, including radiologists and oncology professionals, who provided expert advice on the importance of timely diagnosis. Additionally, Natasha Babulova, a member of HEMA-ONCO, shared her personal experience fighting breast cancer to raise public awareness.
Mayor Betty Stamenkoska Trajkoska emphasized that health is a top priority and that prevention is a vital tool in the fight against cancer. The campaign is scheduled to conclude with a ‘Pink Picnic’ at the City Park on October 4.
