Kitros, Katerini and Platamonas Metropolis continues city camp for children

The Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerini and Platamonas is running its "City Camp" program for local children. The initiative, which began on 6 July, completed its second camp session on 18 July and will continue until 1 August, offering a safe, welcoming environment.

Dozens of children from the wider Katerini area take part in daily activities that include liturgical readings, catechism meetings, participation in church services, sports, games, crafts, theatrical performances, traditional dance lessons and educational workshops. Metropolitan Georgios personally oversees the programme, meeting with the children, clergy, group leaders and staff, and publicly thanking volunteers for their support.

The camp is also being held in several parishes of Katerini, such as the Cathedral of the Assumption, Saint Anne, Saint Christoforos, Saint Charalambos, Saint Meletios and Saint Andrew of Aiginio, extending the summer experience across the region.
