KKB Hackathon concludes with focus on Agentic Data Analytics
The KKB Hackathon concluded on October 17 at the MEXT Technology Center, focusing on the theme of ‘Agentic Data Analytics.’ The competition aimed to support youth participation in technology production and introduce new talent to Turkey’s technology ecosystem.
Out of 522 teams and 1,805 students from universities across Turkey, 60 teams participated in a two-week semi-final process with mentors, eventually leading to 14 finalist teams. Participants utilized KKB’s domestic and secure cloud infrastructure, Kloudeks, to access artificial intelligence services such as large language models (LLM) and embedding.
A notable development in this year's event was the implementation of an AI-based evaluation system. This system was developed by former finalists from the previous year who have since joined KKB. The system analyzes various parameters, including mentor evaluations, code quality, and demo performance, to support the process from application to the finals. The winning teams received a total of 875,000 TL in prizes.
