KKB members surrender weapons and reintegrate in Central Papua

Four members of the armed criminal group (KKB) from the Tolikara and Yambi regional commands have surrendered their weapons and declared their return to the Republic of Indonesia. The surrender took place during a national reintegration ceremony at the Puncak Jaya District Command headquarters in Central Papua.

The individuals involved, including Bongkar Tabuni, Lipar Tabuni, Bejo Tabuni, and Kopitua Tabuni, handed over several firearms, including an AR-15, a 9mm revolver, a .22 LR Trailside Sig Arms pistol, and a 9mm Combat pistol. Brigadier General Riyanto, Commander of the Habema Operational Command, expressed appreciation for the members' decision to reintegrate and contribute to regional development.
