Klagenfurt promotes Altstadtzauber while Waldfest draws political guests
Klagenfurt officials and the traditional "Stadtrichter" delegation visited Graz on 25 July 2026, using the Koralmbahn, to publicise the Altstadtzauber festival scheduled for 6‑8 August in Klagenfurt. Mayor Christian Scheider accompanied the group, distributed flyers and performed live music in front of the Graz Rathaus, emphasising the short 45‑minute travel time that should attract more visitors from Styria.
The same weekend, 27 July 2026, the annual Waldfest in the Viktring district of Klagenfurt took place. FPÖ councilor Sandra Wassermann and National Council member Gernot Darmann attended, praising the multigenerational tradition and thanking volunteers, including commander Harald Morak, for their effort.
