KLM expands winter network to 164 destinations

KLM has announced its winter flight schedule, which will serve 164 destinations across 64 countries from October 25 to March 27. The airline is increasing capacity on several long-haul and European routes and will introduce its first Airbus A350 into the fleet.

Key route updates include the return of services to Minneapolis and San Diego from the Schiphol hub, as well as increased frequency to Panama City, São Paulo, and Curaçao. In Europe, the airline is adding weekly flights to Rovaniemi and Kittilä, and extra daily services to Florence and Basel.

KLM also plans to resume flights to Dubai, Riyadh, and Dammam, though the exact timing remains dependent on the situation in the Middle East. Additionally, services to Kigali and Entebbe are set to resume, with the Entebbe route operating four times a week provided Ebola-related travel restrictions are lifted. In Cyprus, while the seasonal daily Larnaca-Amsterdam service ends in October, connections will continue via the KLM booking platform and through Transavia services.
