KNEC releases 2025 KJSEA, KPSEA, and KCSE feedback reports
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released feedback reports for the 2025 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
For the KJSEA, a total of 1,130,459 candidates participated. Results show that 75 per cent of learners reached or surpassed the ‘Approaching Expectations’ level. Performance varied by subject: Hindu Religious Education saw 84.62 per cent of learners meeting or exceeding expectations, while Mathematics (32.44 per cent) and Kenyan Sign Language (22.14 per cent) recorded the lowest proportions of learners meeting expectations. Girls outperformed boys in 10 of the 12 assessed learning areas.
Headteachers can access school-specific KPSEA and KJSEA reports via the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) portal using their school credentials. General feedback reports, including subject-by-subject analyses and marking schemes, are available through the KNEC bookshop in Nairobi or via email.
