Ko Chih-en launches women's support group in Kaohsiung

Kuomintang (KMT) candidate Ko Chih-en officially established her women's support group in Kaohsiung on November 13. During the event, KMT Chairperson Cheng Li-wen criticized the Democratic Progressive Party's New Tide faction, accusing them of utilizing a 'black Ko industry chain' to spread rumors and smear Ko's reputation during the election cycle.

Cheng urged voters to reject these tactics and called for a KMT sweep of Kaohsiung city council seats to support Ko's potential administration. Ko Chih-en, visibly moved by the presence of her daughter at the event, addressed allegations regarding budget cuts, stating her focus is on fiscal responsibility to support families. She proposed a 'breathing voucher' policy to assist working parents and those providing long-term care, pledging to lead Kaohsiung with the same care she provides her own family.
