On November 1, Han Kuo-yu and Ko Wen-je appeared together at the Sanmin District support association launch to endorse Ko Chih-en and support several city council candidates from both the Kuomintang and the Taiwan People's Party.

Recent polling from United Daily News indicates that Democratic Progressive Party candidate Lai Rui-long holds a lead over Ko Chih-en, with 40% support compared to Ko’s 33%. Lai also maintains an advantage in perceived chances of winning, at 49% to 21%. Demographic analysis shows Ko performs better among male voters and supporters of the Taiwan People's Party, while Lai leads among female voters and older age groups. Undecided voters currently account for 26% of the electorate.
