Ko Wen-je supports Ke Chih-en in Kaohsiung election campaign

Ko Wen-je, founder of the Taiwan People's Party, appeared at a campaign event in Kaohsiung to support Ke Chih-en for mayor. Accompanied by Legislative Yuan Speaker Han Kuo-yu, Ko emphasized a potential cooperation between the Blue and White political camps to secure support for the upcoming election.

During the event, Ko criticized the ruling party's handling of legislative bills and raised questions regarding political donations. He specifically questioned the consistency of judicial standards by comparing a 2.1 million TWD donation to the People's Party with a 3 million TWD donation made to Lai Jui-lung's personal political account. Ko called for investigations into election expenses and suggested that judicial authorities should conduct thorough inquiries.

Lai Jui-lung responded to the allegations by stating that all political donations are declared publicly and transparently in accordance with the law. He urged critics to rely on facts rather than using disconnected information as a tool for political attacks during an election.
