Kocaeli Social Life Center construction reaches 60% completion

The Kocaeli Social Life Center, a municipal project overseen by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and Mayor Tahir Büyükakın, has reached 60% construction progress. The facility spans about 17,000 m² across seven blocks, with steel structures fully installed and the observation tower completed.

Work is proceeding simultaneously on multiple blocks: the conservatory, language academy, library, gastronomy workshops, natural‑life museum, digital broadcast studios, entrepreneurship centre and civil‑society facilities are all under development. Exterior steelwork, façade panels, glass installations, elevator and roof works are near completion, while mechanical, electrical and interior finishes continue across the various buildings.
