Çıldır (Ardahan) Gezi Parkı Bridge Inaugurated for Pedestrian Safety

A new pedestrian bridge spanning the Karaçay Çayı was opened in the Çıldır district of Ardahan Province. The structure, called the Gezi Parkı Bridge, was built through the initiative of academic Prof. Dr. Esfender Korkmaz, founder of the KAI Education Foundation. The opening ceremony was attended by Korkmaz, Çıldır Mayor Yakup Kemal Azioğlu, and Turkey’s Business Magazine editor Celal Toprak, along with a large number of local residents.

The bridge is expected to improve pedestrian safety and ease local travel across the river.

The inauguration marks a direct investment in the district’s infrastructure, aiming to provide a safe and convenient crossing for residents and to support future development in the region.
