Skoda Auto posts 9% sales rise and electric‑vehicle delivery record in H1 2026

Skoda Auto delivered 555,700 vehicles worldwide in the first half of 2026, a 9.1 % increase over the same period a year earlier. Revenue rose 6.3 % to €16 billion and operating profit grew 6.3 % to €1.366 billion. Fully electric (BEV) deliveries of the Elroq and Enyaq models jumped 48.3 % to 108,200 units, while plug‑in hybrid (PHEV) deliveries increased 11.8 % to 24,100 units, giving electric models a 27.7 % share of total Skoda deliveries in Europe.

The brand remained second in overall passenger‑car sales across Europe (EU27+4). Germany stayed Skoda’s biggest market with a record 120,400 cars sold, up 19.6 % YoY, followed by strong growth in Austria (+16.6 %), Poland (+14.2 %), Italy (+10.7 %), Spain (+9.5 %), France (+9.3 %), the Czech Republic (+6.9 %) and the United Kingdom (+6.6 %). Outside Europe, India remained the fourth‑largest market, delivering 35,700 vehicles, a 7.4 % rise.

The Elroq model reached 59,900 units worldwide, making it the fifth‑best‑selling Skoda model and the third‑best‑selling BEV in Europe. The Enyaq recorded 48,300 units, placing it among the top electric models in the region.
