Škoda Auto launches affordable Epiq electric crossover in Czech Republic

Škoda Auto has launched the most affordable version of its Epiq electric crossover in the Czech market. The new Epiq 35 model, featuring the Essence equipment trim, is available for orders starting at 619,000 CZK.

Technically, the Epiq 35 utilizes a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 38.5 kWh, providing a usable 37 kWh. The vehicle is equipped with an 85 kW synchronous electric motor, offering a range of up to 325 km on a single charge and a consumption rate of approximately 13.6 to 13.7 kWh/100 km. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11 seconds with a top speed of 150 km/h. Charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 33 minutes.

Jiří Maláček, Škoda Auto's head for the Czech market, stated that the model is designed to facilitate entry into electric mobility for new customers, specifically targeting urban and suburban driving. This release completes the current Epiq model lineup in the region.
