Škoda Auto marks millionth Karoq production and spotlights Kodiaq SUV

Škoda Auto announced that its Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic has produced the millionth Karoq SUV. The milestone vehicle is equipped with a 1.5‑litre TSI engine delivering 110 kW and is painted in Graphite Grey. Since its 2017 launch, the Karoq has been sold in roughly 60 markets, with Germany, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom as its biggest markets. The model has earned several awards, including the Red Dot design prize and Czech Car of the Year 2018.

The company also highlighted its larger Kodiaq model, the flagship family SUV introduced in 2016 and now in its second generation. The Kodiaq offers a spacious cabin, seven‑seat option, a range of gasoline, diesel and plug‑in‑hybrid powertrains, and advanced driver‑assistance and infotainment features. Both models underline Škoda’s expanding presence in the European SUV segment.
