Škoda Auto's Karoq reaches 1 million units produced

Škoda Auto celebrated the production of its one‑millionth Karoq SUV at the Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic. The model, launched in 2017, has become the brand’s third‑most popular SUV and is built alongside the Octavia and Kodiaq at a facility with an annual capacity of 300,000 vehicles.

The milestone was highlighted by board member and production chief Andreas Dick, who credited the achievement to teamwork and logistics efficiency. The Karoq is equipped with a 1.5 TSI 150‑hp gasoline engine and is most often offered in Graphite Grey. Its main markets are Germany (≈189,600 units), the United Kingdom (≈103,900) and the Czech Republic (≈87,400). A new generation is slated for launch in late 2027 or early 2028.
