Škoda launches Peaq, its largest electric SUV

Škoda unveiled the Peaq, the brand’s biggest electric SUV, during a live‑stream from the Téléphérique du Salève in the French Alps. The model is offered in three versions – the Peaq 60 with a 59 kWh battery, the Peaq 90 with an 86 kWh battery and the all‑wheel‑drive Peaq 90x – delivering WLTP ranges of up to 459 km, over 640 km and more than 610 km respectively. Fast charging delivers 80 % capacity in under 30 minutes (160‑199 kW). The vehicle measures 4.874 m in length with a 2.965 m wheelbase, making it Škoda’s longest SUV, and can be configured with five or seven seats. Cargo capacity reaches 935 L in the five‑seat version, while all seven seats in use still provide 299 L, expanding to 890 L when the third row is folded. Premium features include a 13.6‑inch vertical touchscreen running Android, the largest panoramic roof ever fitted by Škoda (2.1 m²) with dynamic shade control, and bidirectional charging for vehicle‑to‑load, home or grid use. Prices start at €49,490 (incl. VAT) and the first deliveries are expected from September. Škoda reported that 2025 saw more than one million deliveries and a doubling of battery‑electric sales, with the Elroq model leading the brand’s EV lineup, prompting the expansion with the Peaq.
