Skoda launches Peaq flagship seven‑seat electric SUV

Skoda unveiled the Peaq, its largest and most advanced electric vehicle to date. The seven‑seat flagship SUV measures 4.87 m in length with a 2.97 m wheelbase and offers a cargo capacity of up to 935 L (299 L with all seats in use). It is built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB+ platform in Mladá Boleslav and is equipped with either a 63 kWh or a 91 kWh battery – the latter delivering more than 640 km (WLTP) of range, the longest among Skoda EVs.

Powertrain options include rear‑wheel‑drive (150 kW/286 hp) and all‑wheel‑drive (220 kW/299 hp) versions, with rapid DC charging up to 199 kW (10 %–80 % in about 28 min) and bidirectional V2L capability. Inside, the Peaq features a 13.6‑inch vertical Android‑based infotainment screen, a 10‑speaker Sonos audio system, a Relax package with ventilated, massaging seats certified by AGR, and a panoramic electro‑chromic roof. Design follows Skoda’s new Modern Solid language, with a Cd of 0.249, matrix‑LED headlights and flush‑fit door handles.

Pricing is set around €50 000 in continental markets and £52 000–£58 000 in the UK, with orders opening for delivery from September 2026. The model targets families and business users seeking a spacious, premium‑grade electric SUV, positioning Skoda against rivals such as the Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 9 and Volvo EX90.
