Kłodzko to conduct civil defense and flood simulation exercises

Residents of Kłodzko can expect to hear emergency sirens on October 9, 2026, between 9:30 and 10:00 AM. The sirens are part of the ZAPORA 2026 exercises, a county-wide drill focused on civil defense, population protection, and crisis management.

The local government has clarified that the sirens are for training purposes only and do not indicate a real threat. The broader exercises, scheduled for October 8 and 9, aim to test cooperation between the County Crisis Management Center, local governments, emergency services, and various inspections.
